What is the important role of exhaust valve in agricultural irrigation system?

After the entire pipeline system is installed, it is basically in a sealed state. When the water pump starts to work, if the pipeline is not equipped with an exhaust valve, a large amount of water pours into the pipeline from the inlet and pushes towards the outlet. dripper or sprayer). Drippers and nozzles often have too little air output, and if the exhaust is not timely, the pressure in the pipeline will increase instantaneously, which may cause the main pipeline to burst.

When the water pump stops, the water in the pipeline will flow back. In a sloped mountain, the water flows to the bottom, creating a vacuum on the pipeline at the top of the slope, generating a large internal suction. The greater the slope, the greater the suction, which is large enough to directly Suction the PVC pipe flat. If the dripper or drip tape is installed at the water outlet, and the dripper is facing down on the soil, the suction of the pipe will directly suck the soil into the dripper, causing the dripper to be blocked and difficult to clean.

In summer, the temperature is high, and the air expansion in the sealed pipeline will also cause the air pressure in the pipeline to double due to direct sunlight. Excessive air pressure may also cause the pipeline to rupture. Therefore, when the switch is turned on on the pipeline without the intake and exhaust valves, you can hear the exhaust sound of "huhu".

The function of the Chinadrip brand inlet and exhaust valves is that when the water pump starts, it can quickly discharge the air in the pipeline, reduce the impact of the water pressure on the pipeline, and allow the water to reach the outlet smoothly. When the water pump stops running, the water in the pipe will flow back and to the bottom. The intake and exhaust valves can quickly suck in air to make up for the vacuum caused by the water flow away, and avoid excessive internal pressure from sucking the pipe or dripper into the soil. When not working normally, the intake and exhaust valves are in a normal state, and the air can freely enter and exit, and there will be no excessive air pressure in the pipeline.

Commonly used intake and exhaust valves are generally of the built-in float type and must be installed vertically. When the air comes, the air can bypass the float to exhaust. When the air is exhausted and the water flow comes, the floating ball will be moved by the water and float up to withstand the sealing ring above, and the water will no longer flow out. When there is water in the water pipe, the intake and exhaust valves will always be sealed. When the water in the pipe recedes, the floating ball will fall down and start the air intake work. Therefore, it is normal for the intake and exhaust valves to have some water overflow at the beginning.

In the entire irrigation system, an exhaust valve needs to be installed on the flat ground 200-300 meters. On slopes, according to the principle of water flowing down and air going up, in addition to installing an intake and exhaust valve at 200 meters, it is also necessary to install an intake and exhaust valve at a high place to ensure that the air in the pipeline can be exhausted quickly. Especially when the main pipeline crosses a slope, an intake and exhaust valve should be installed at a high place, otherwise it is easy to form an air chamber at the top of the slope.

The size of the intake and exhaust valves can be determined according to the size of the main pipeline and the installation distance. 2-inch intake and exhaust valves can be used for pipelines above 160, and 1.5-inch intake and exhaust valves can be used for 110-160 pipelines. 1-inch intake and exhaust valves can be used below 110.
